Roller, also known as drum, has the following requirements in production:

1. The roller should have sufficient rigidity to ensure that the bending deformation does not exceed the requirements under heavy loads.

2. The roller should have sufficient hardness, generally reaching HRC50 degrees or above, and have strong corrosion resistance. Its coating has anti stripping ability, ensuring good wear resistance and corrosion resistance on the working surface.

3. The working surface of the roller should be finely machined to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface roughness. Note that the roughness should be above Ra0.16 and there should be no pores or grooves. The wall thickness of the working surface should be uniform to avoid affecting the quality of the product.

4. The material of the roller should have good thermal conductivity, such as using cold hard cast iron, and in special cases, using cast steel or molybdenum chromium alloy steel to achieve rapid and uniform heating or cooling.
